Reiki level 1

This module has no pre-requisites and is open to anyone who has the desire to learn Reiki. Level one is intended for self treatments and transformation as well as a healing tool for the treatment of family members and friends. Reiki is a very gentle tool of healing providing the practitioner with the opportunity to take time out for themselves, lie down, resting peacefully while allowing their mind, body and soul to be revitalised in a balanced harmonious way. A minimum contact training of 12 hours over a day and half. Maximum 6 to 10 students per class per tutor to allow for maximum student/tutor contact and individual supervision.

Reiki level 2

At Reiki level 2 the student and his/her Reiki Master will collectively decide when the student is ready to progress to the next level and this varies considerably between individuals. However it is recommended that at leaset 3 months will have elapsed between Reiki level 1 [first degree] and commencement of training.
The students should be a mature, responsible and experience person who can show detachment, allowing space and time for healing to occur, yet empathy and compassion at the same time.

Reiki level 3

A practitioner must hold:
-  Reiki First and Second Degree plus additional practitioner requirement as previously listed.
- Anatomy and Physiology: a basic understanding of the functions of the human body and how dis ease or stress can affect the health and wellbeing.
- Professional Ethics and Business Awareness: Practitioners must be fully aware of their obligation to act professionally and ethically in all treatments situations. This module also teaches how to set up and maintain a viable practice, financial records and methods of promoting and developing a practice.
- First Aid Skills: All therapist must hold a first Aid Certificate and have it arranged by themselves with a branch of the Order of Malta.
